Passengers can now enjoy 24-hour flight check-in services for China Eastern Airlines' domestic flights at Shanghai Pudong International Airport.

The new service has been integrated with the airport's round-the-clock security screening for domestic departures.

After check-in is complete, passengers may proceed through security and enter the domestic departure lounge at any time.

To further enhance the experience, the airline's VIP Lounge 118 at Satellite Terminal S1 is also open 24/7, offering more convenience for people transferring.

Since June 2024, China Eastern Airlines has been piloting late-night check-in services, allowing passengers to obtain boarding passes and check luggage between midnight and 4 am.

This service is specifically tailored for passengers arriving late at night who need smooth early-morning connections.

Over the past 11 months, the initiative has served over 70,000 passengers and processed over 48,000 pieces of luggage.

As an extension of the pilot measures, the newly launched 24-hour check-in, effective since the May Day holiday, has already served over 4,000 passengers and processed over 2,500 pieces of luggage.
