A shipment of 68 custom-built rail cars departed from Shanghai for Perth, Australia, on Sept 4 to support local grain transportation.

The rail cars were designed and manufactured to meet Australia's strict standards for load capacity, sealing performance, and unloading efficiency.

According to the Jinshan border inspection authorities, hundreds of similar rail cars will be shipped through Shanghai ports to Australia in the near future.

To ensure rapid clearance, the border inspection authorities activated an interdepartmental coordination mechanism in advance. They coordinated with the manufacturer, transport companies, and the terminal to closely track the vessel's arrival and loading schedule.

A green channel for high-end equipment exports enabled data sharing with customs and maritime authorities, reducing processing times.

Meanwhile, enhanced supervision measures were implemented during cargo loading to prevent smuggling.
