The first Artificial Intelligence Data Center Industry Development Conference will be held in Shanghai on Sept 17.

The conference will be hosted by the Global Computing Consortium, a China-based international industry and standards organization for the computing field. The gathering will focus on the theme of unleashing computing power to usher in a new era for AI-driven data centers.

The event will unveil the industry's first AIDC Infrastructure Specification, a standard that is intended to cater to the growing demand for data centers driven by rapid advancements in artificial intelligence, which are straining the capabilities of traditional facilities.

Developed by the GCC in collaboration with the China Electronics Standardization Institute and the China Electronic Engineering Design Institute, the AIDC Infrastructure Specification offers guidelines to standardize the construction of AI-driven data centers.

Experts from internet companies, telecom operators, financial firms, server manufacturers, and data center service providers will discuss infrastructure innovation and standardization at the conference.
