The Shanghai International Light Festival, a major public cultural event showcasing the city's distinctive character, is calling for creative theme slogans from around the world.

Participants are invited to submit original slogans in Chinese and/or English that vividly capture the spirit and vision of the 3rd Shanghai International Light Festival to be held in 2026.

Submission Requirements

Themes should be concise, vivid, and inspiring, reflecting Shanghai's metropolitan style and the beauty of light.

• Chinese themes must not exceed 8 characters.
• Each participant may submit up to two slogans (eg, one Chinese + one English, or two of either).

How to Submit

• Send your entries via email to: SH_LIGHTFESTIVAL@163.com
• Provide the slogan(s) in Word format, along with a brief explanation (up to 300 words) of the theme’s meaning.
• Include your name, contact information, and nationality.

Deadline & Selection

• All submissions must be received by March 4, 2026.
• The selected slogan will become the official theme of the 2026 festival and will be featured in international promotions and events. Winners will receive a special prize.
