The 2026 Standard Chartered Shanghai 10km Run is set to take place on May 16.

Under the theme of Together, We Run Further, this year's race will start and finish at the Expo Celebration Square, following a scenic course along the Huangpu River for an immersive running experience.

The 2026 edition features a 10-kilometer individual run and a 2-km family run, with 4,500 entries available.

Registration opens in two phases: early-bird registration on April 8 and regular registration on April 10. Participants can register via the official website, with entries allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Lu Jing, chief executive officer of Standard Chartered Bank (China), said that the run provides an open and inclusive platform to connect runners, customers, partners, and the broader community, encouraging people to invest in themselves, build friendships, and draw strength from running.

She added that, with nearly 170 years of history in Shanghai, Standard Chartered will continue to use the city as a strategic hub to connect global opportunities and support its development as a global financial center.

Since its debut in Shanghai in 2018, the race has grown into a beloved event, combining professionalism, fun, and inclusiveness, while consistently attracting the local running community.
