Changning highlights foreign-related legal services at Shanghai Legal Culture Festival
The Changning event of the 3rd Shanghai Legal Culture Festival was held on May 29 at the Hongqiao International Opening-up Hub Business Service Center.
The event brought together representatives from relevant government departments, subdistricts and towns, companies, law firms, public legal education workers, and expats, who gathered to discuss rule-of-law development and efforts to build a safe Changning.
In recent years, Changning has advanced the development of the linked innovation zone of the Hongqiao International Central Legal-services District, launched a cross-border legal services platform, and cultivated professionals for foreign-related legal work.
Changning has continued to innovate digital legal service models, using the rule of law to support community well-being and improve legal services.
The event also announced a new group of expat legal observers and public legal education volunteers, who will serve as bridges for legal and cultural exchanges between China and other countries. Their involvement will help build an international, law-based, and livable environment and promote mutual learning among different legal cultures.
Changning district will continue to deepen its legal culture, strengthen the foundation of law-based governance at the grassroots level, innovate foreign-related rule-of-law services, and improve public legal literacy, using high-quality rule-of-law development to support regional growth.
