Recap: Intl exchange activity of Shanghai leadership (July 27-Aug 2)
July 30 – Shanghai Mayor Gong Zheng met with a delegation led by Vimal Kapur, chairman and chief executive officer of Honeywell Technologies, in Shanghai.
Gong expressed hope that Honeywell Technologies would continue to increase its investment and expand its presence in Shanghai, bringing more core business operations, cutting-edge technologies and high-quality projects to the city. He encouraged the company to further integrate itself into local supply chains, helping promote smarter, greener and more integrated industrial development in Shanghai.
He invited the company to participate in the ninth China International Import Expo and introduce more new products, technologies and services to Shanghai and the broader Chinese market.
Kapur said the company remained confident in the development prospects of China and Shanghai. Honeywell Technologies will continue to increase its investment in the city, participate in the CIIE and pursue broader cooperation with Shanghai, he added.
