Ding's Hock of Fengjing (Fengjing Pig) – the famous Shanghai pork knuckle dish – was created by Ding Qinglun, the owner of a bistro named Dingyixing, in 1852.

Over the past 170 years, this dish has been continuously improved – in the family's second generation by Ding Yupeng and in the third generation by Ding Runzhang – making it even more delicious. The dish features a fragrant flavor when eaten cold and it has a sticky texture when steamed.

Ding's Hock of Fengjing enjoys a reputation as a Chinese time-honored brand.
