Shanghai to operate direct flights to Penang, Malaysia
Shanghai will launch its first direct flight route to Penang, Malaysia, on May 31 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties between China and Malaysia, announced the Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture and Tourism recently.
The direct flights between Shanghai Pudong International Airport and Penang International Airport will operate four times a week.
It is set to further facilitate increased travel and cultural exchanges between the two countries, which have recently launched a mutual visa-free entry agreement.
