Starting from May 23, Delta Air Lines will increase its direct flights from Shanghai Pudong (PVG) to Detroit (DTW) in Michigan in the United States from the current three flights per week to daily service, announced the US airline.

Currently, Delta Air Lines operates several direct flights between China and the United States, including a daily flight from Shanghai Pudong to Seattle, Washington, and three flights per week from Shanghai Pudong to Detroit.

According to the latest agreement between the governments of China and the United States to further increase flights, Delta Air Lines will soon operate two daily direct flights from Shanghai Pudong to Seattle and Detroit, making it easier for customers to travel to other destination cities in the Americas.

Delta said the Shanghai-Detroit daily flights will be operated by its flagship international aircraft, the Airbus A350-900, while the Shanghai-Seattle flights are operated by the airline's newest wide-body aircraft, the Airbus A330-900neo. Both aircraft types offer Delta's four seat options: Delta Premier Business Class Suite, Delta Premium Economy, Delta Premium Economy and Economy Class, said the company.
