Oct 11 – Shanghai Party Secretary Chen Jining met with Jean-Christophe Deslarzes, chairman of the board of directors of Adecco Group.

Chen noted that, as a global leader in human resources consulting, the Adecco Group's core business aligns closely with Shanghai's functional positioning, offering ample opportunities for collaboration. He expressed that Shanghai will enhance policy support and service provision to create a brighter future for global companies.

Deslarzes highlighted Shanghai's pivotal role in Adecco's global operations. He conveyed his eagerness to seize the opportunities in digitalization and green development, cultivate the Chinese market, and deepen practical cooperation in a wider range of fields.

Chen emphasized that Shanghai will strive to create a world-class business environment that is market-oriented, law-based, and internationally aligned. Chen stated his confidence that this effort would help global enterprises and institutions achieve faster and better growth in Shanghai.
