According to the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, the 2024 World Artificial Intelligence Conference and the High-Level Meeting on Global AI Governance (WAIC 2024) will be held in Shanghai from July 4 to 6.

Registration for the conference is available through an online cloud platform. After completing the required information, the public can participate in various activities of the conference offline, either for free or for a fee.

There are three types of onsite visitors: free forum attendees, paid forum attendees, and paid exhibition attendees.

III. Entry process

1. Step one: Present your electronic entry voucher.

2. Step two: Use the original ID provided during registration and complete face recognition verification to enter.

- Take Metro Line 8 to China Art Palace Station, Exit 3. Walk 470 meters and enter through Gate 2 of the Expo Center.

- Take Metro Line 13 to Expo Avenue Station, Exit 1. Walk 760 meters and enter through Gate 2 of the Expo Center.

2. Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center

- Take Metro Line 13 to Expo Avenue Station, Exit 1. Walk 580 meters and enter through the north or south gates with a valid pass.

- Take Metro Line 8 to China Art Palace Station, Exit 3. Walk 410 meters and enter through the north or south gates with a valid pass.

VII. Reminders

1. Children under 12 are not recommended to attend. If they must visit the exhibition, please register and pay the fee as an adult. Due to peak attendance, it is recommended to visit the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center on July 7. Additionally, children must be accompanied by at least one adult with a valid ticket and a minor consent form must be signed at the entrance.

2. The official payment channels for the conference are the conference's official website, official WeChat, and H5 cloud platform.

3. Please plan your trip in advance and make the necessary preparations before making payment to avoid any inconvenience to your visit or attendance.

4. Food, beverages, professional recording equipment, lighters, long-handled umbrellas, and other items are prohibited at the conference site. Please cooperate with security checks and follow the instructions of the staff and on-site announcements.
