Sleep No More, Shanghai, an immersive drama, reached its 2,000th performance on Aug 3 at the McKinnon Hotel in Shanghai. The play tells Shakespeare's classic tragedy Macbeth through a darkly cinematic lens, offering an audience experience unlike anything else. Audiences move freely through the epic story, creating their own journeys through a film noir world. Eric Jackson Bradley, the resident director of the show, told China Daily that the 2,000th show is an astronomical achievement.
