Shanghai University recently hosted an award ceremony to honor the exceptional achievements of its international students over the past year, and to welcome the upcoming Spring Festival.

The ceremony commenced with a performance of Golden Hour by the university's international student choir.

Students who received awards at the school level or higher in 2024 took the stage. Following this, certificates were awarded to the winners of notable events such as the International Student Mid-Autumn Chinese Poetry Recitation Contest and the International Student Academic Awards.

After the award ceremony, the festivities transitioned into a New Year celebration. The lively event featured booths offering games and food stalls. Students engaged in traditional cultural activities such as block printing and pitch-pot games, while also savoring traditional Chinese delicacies like candied hawthorns.

Furthermore, interactive activities such as traditional Chinese clothing displays, lucky character crafts, and knot tying gave students a deeper appreciation of Chinese culture.
