The 21st edition of the China Digital Entertainment Expo and Conference, famously known as ChinaJoy, is set to take place from July 26 to 29 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, announced the event organizer during a press conference on June 21.

Ticket sales channels for super early bird tickets will open at noon on June 27, followed by early bird ticket sales commencing on June 29. Regular tickets will be sold from July 2 onwards, with a notable emphasis that no tickets will be sold on-site, the event organizer said. This exhibition is poised to draw a multitude of industry professionals from around the globe.

This year's event promises to be a grand affair, with over 600 enterprises from 31 countries and regions participating, with foreign enterprises constituting approximately 30 percent of the exhibitors. The exhibition will cover a total area of 130,000 square meters, with nearly 300 consumer-facing enterprises occupying 110,000 square meters and around 400 business-facing enterprises occupying 20,000 square meters.

Among the industry giants set to showcase their latest innovations are Tencent, NetEase, Sony, and Bilibili. A standout feature of this year's exhibition is Hall E4, the Snapdragon Pavilion. As a collaborative effort between Qualcomm and various industry players, this pavilion will showcase cutting-edge technologies such as intelligent wearables.

In addition to the exhibition, the China Digital Entertainment Congress and the China Game Developers Conference will provide valuable insights into the interactive entertainment industry and delve into trending technologies.

Another exciting addition to this year's ChinaJoy is the unveiling of the Game Museum by the China Audio-Video and Digital Publishing Association. Zhang Yijun, the association's vice president, said that the museum will showcase a spectrum of games, from classics to modern titles, tracing the evolution of China's dynamic game industry.

Zhang emphasized the museum's significance, saying, "The establishment of a museum is an important milestone marking the maturity of the industry. After one year of preparation, we are dedicated to telling stories through the exhibited items. We aim to showcase the industry's development history and cultural value through engaging exhibitions and interactive experiences, following in the footsteps of countries like the United States, Germany, Japan, and South Korea."
