The award-winning drama Life of Pi by London's West End will be staged at Shanghai Culture Square from May 29 to June 1.

Tickets are now available through Shanghai Culture Square's official WeChat account. Prices range from 180 yuan ($24.63) to 980 yuan, with regular and weekend shows priced differently.

Having earned five Olivier Awards and three Tony Awards in its London iteration, as well as being the subject of an Oscar-winning film directed by Ang Lee in 2012, Life of Pi was originally a novel by Canadian writer Yann Martel, telling the story of a 16-year-old boy’s adventure on a lifeboat.

During its run in Shanghai, the production will hold a total of six performances, accommodating both weekday and weekend audiences. Weekday show times are scheduled at 7:30 pm on May 29, May 30, and June 1, while weekend showtimes are set for 2 pm and 7:30 pm on May 31, and 2 pm on June 1.
