Regional policies on green and low-carbon industries in Shanghai:

Jing'an District

a) Enterprises independently invest in the implementation of the energy-saving technological transformation, and strengthen energy management — subsidies for a single project will not exceed 1 million yuan ($141,200).

b) For contract energy management projects fully invested by energy-saving service enterprises and carried out within the district, the subsidy amount for a single contract energy management project shall not exceed 1.5 million yuan ($211,800).

Yangpu District

a) The conventional photovoltaic power station project incentive standard is 800 yuan/kW. The maximum incentive for a single project shall not exceed 2 million yuan ($282,400).

b) For distributed PV projects in new buildings, the maximum reward for a single project shall not exceed 2 million yuan ($282,400).

c) For photovoltaic building integration projects, according to the actual amount of power generated by the project, the incentive standard is 0.1 yuan/kWh, with an incentive period of 5 years.

Xuhui District

a) For enterprises implementing energy-saving technology reform and product application projects, and to achieve significant energy saving, emission reduction and carbon reduction effect, support of a maximum of 3 million yuan ($423,600) will be given.

b) Enterprises within the scope of the district that implement building energy efficiency projects, and are included in the Shanghai Green Building, a single demonstration project may receive a maximum of 3 million yuan ($423,600).

c) Newly distributed photovoltaic projects within the scope of the district and grid-connected, according to the project grid acceptance scale will give enterprises 1000 yuan/kW in support, or according to the actual amount of investment in the project, enterprises may receive up to 20 percent in support.
