Flagship sailing event kicks off in Shanghai
The opening ceremony of the Shanghai Sailing Open was held along the Hongkou riverside on March 26, kicking off the flagship event by cruising down the Huangpu River.
The competitions will take place at Dishui Lake in Shanghai's Pudong New Area from March 29 to 31. The event will feature 35 ILCA6 sailboats and 25 J80 yachts, with a total of 300 participants.
The tournament will feature top sailors including Marcin Rudawski, a six-time world champion from Poland, and Weka Bhanubandh from Thailand, who won the ILCA4 gold medal at the Hangzhou Asian Games.
