Insurance purchase guide for international students
According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education, foreign students studying in China for longer than six months must purchase Group Comprehensive Insurance.

Special reminder
1. This insurance does not cover claims for medical expenses outside China.
2. If there is a break in coverage, illnesses or accidents occurring during the previous policy period as well as the break in coverage will be considered as pre-existing conditions and cannot be claimed even if the treatment is carried out in the new policy period.
3. Most universities require incoming students to purchase insurance prior to registration. For specific details, please refer to your university's guidelines.

About claims
You can call the hotline (4008105119) for 1) consultation on medical treatment, application for advance payment of hospitalization fee, etc.; 2) claims reimbursement, if the total invoice amount is less than 5,000 yuan ($690), you can upload the consultation information from the hospital to apply online, without the need to mail the original documents; 3) other related services.
Claim documents: The following documents are necessary when applying for an insurance claim: a copy of your passport, a copy of your medical record, copies of the front and back of your bank card, invoices/receipts for hospitalization charges, discharge summary/hospitalization records (for hospitalization), a list of medications (for hospitalization), and, in the case of accident insurance, an accident certificate.
Purchase instructions
1. Log in to www.lxbx.net (Study Abroad Insurance Network) and purchase the Group Comprehensive Insurance through online payment; the specific purchase process is attached in the next section.
2. After successful payment, please keep and print the insurance receipt and other insurance information and bring it to the registration site on the day of registration.
3. Please make sure you complete the insurance purchase within the time specified by your university.
