Shanghai Chemical Industry Park
Shanghai Chemical Industry Park (SCIP) is a state-level economic and technological development zone dominated by petrochemical industry, as well as one of the "Seven Major Petrochemical Industry Bases"planned by the State Council. Located at the north shore of Hangzhou Bay, SCIP has formed circular economic industry chain started with ethylene and established high-end industrial clusters featuring chemical new materials,which has become a specialized chemical industry park with many well-known international chemical enterprises, highly correlated industrial product chains and advanced circular economy.
Basing on new development stage and implementing new development ideologies, SCIP actively embraces national strategy and municipal plan,and dedicates itself to promoting the in-depth merger of petrochemical industry with "dual carbon" target, science and technology innovation and digital transformation. It is devoted to constructing green chemical industry clusters, Shanghai International Chemical New Materials Innovation Center, Shanghai Electronic Chemicals Special Zone and smart chemical industry park, aiming to build a world-class petrochemical production base and circular economy model.
