Course arrangement

1. Curriculum: comprehensive Chinese language courses, including vocabulary, grammar, reading, and oral Chinese; elective courses such as Chinese calligraphy and tai chi (elective courses are arranged in the afternoon).

2. Activities: weekly city tour, including city attractions and museums. As for weekend excursions, students need to apply and the cost is determined by the location of the excursion.

3. Teaching materials: Easy Learning Chinese Course Books.

4. Class hours: from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 11:50 am.

Study period

1. Three sessions are offered in the summer and the study period is from July 8 to Aug 30. Students can apply from four weeks to eight weeks. The application deadline is June 1.

2. Group applications are also accepted for Summer Sessions. Opening time can be negotiated with the Office of International Student Affairs (OISA) as required. Courses can also be tailored as required. Please contact: oisa@shisu.edu.cn

Application instructions

1. Age limit: from 16 to 60.

2. Application fee: 450 yuan ($62.2).
