Baowu (Shanghai) Carbon Neutrality Industrial Park
Baowu (Shanghai) Carbon Neutrality Industrial Park, situated in Baoshan district, spans a planned area of 2.14 square kilometers. As the inaugural core center in Shanghai featuring green and low-carbon innovation and industrial development, this industrial park is also an important base for Baoshan district to position itself as a "science and technology innovation center".
Following the "double carbon" strategy, relying on the comprehensive advantages of China Baowu "ecological circle", such as the industrial base and head enterprises, and building on the development of new materials, intelligent manufacturing, new energy, circular economy and other competitive industries, the park aims to gather global "double-carbon" innovation resources and high-end talents. It plans to establish a highland for the development of green and low-carbon related characteristic industries, serve as a base for the best application scenarios of "hard core" achievements, promote the "Northern Transformation" of Baoshan old industrial base, and become a demonstration area for advancing the development of green and low-carbon related industries and regional transformation and upgrading in the Yangtze River Delta region.
