Constructed seven decades ago, the Shanghai Exhibition Center stands as a testament to the relentless march of time and the unwavering resilience of the city.

It stands as one of Shanghai's iconic landmarks, captivating the attention of both locals and visitors alike.

Recently, the theme exhibition hall titled Dialogue on Shanghai Exhibition Center: Glory and Dreams Across the Era has commenced its trial operation, welcoming the public to delve deeper into the building's legendary narrative.

Situated in the southwest square of this renowned landmark, the exhibition hall serves as a versatile space that seamlessly blends displays with experiential activities, encompassing functions such as exhibitions, cultural immersion, and educational outreach.

The exhibition revolves around the Shanghai Exhibition Center's classic and evocative architecture, structured into three main thematic sections — "Architecture and Time", "Architecture and People", and "Architecture and City".

Open: Tuesday to Saturday, 9 am-4:30 pm. Free and open to the public, except for public holidays and major events. In case of special circumstances, such as temporary changes, the showroom on-site announcements shall prevail.

Constructed in 1938, the Green House represents the final masterpiece of the Hungarian-born architect Laszlo Hudec. Its name derives from the abundance of verdant surface bricks adorning its structures and enclosures.
