German pianist embraces Chinese Culture through music
In late April, German pianist Oskar Roman Jezior teamed up with a guzheng player, who is also a fellow music content creator, for a captivating street performance in the bustling heart of Shanghai. The duo performed two popular pieces, Fearless and Cao Cao, blending piano and guzheng melodies. Upon release, the video quickly went viral, becoming an instant hit online.
Born in Poland in 1985 and raised in Germany, Oskar graduated from the Juilliard School in the United States. He is a talented pianist, violinist, composer, and film producer. Ten years ago, after making his mark in Europe's classical music scene, Oskar decided to move to Shanghai to embark on his musical journey in the East.
"I have a deep love for Shanghai," Oskar shared. "As a German pianist, being able to perform beautiful Chinese music alongside a traditional Chinese instrument in such a stunning setting is truly a unique and extraordinary experience."
