The 2024 Jinshan tourism festival opened with a dazzling ceremony on Sept 22, with more than 30 cultural and tourism activities awaiting visitors from near and far.

Visitors are invited to enjoy a firework show at the Jinshan City Beach on Oct 4 and Oct 6. Festivalgoers can also immerse themselves in sea fishing culture at Jinshanzui Fishing Village from Sept 30 to Oct 7.

Known for its millennial history and as a living relic of Jinshan's folk culture, the Zhujing lantern festival began on Sept 14 and runs until Oct 7.

This year's Jinshan tourism festival kicked off with a float parade, captivating the night's audience with a vibrant display of cultural and artistic elements.

The Legoland Shanghai Resort float was the first to meet the audience, giving visitors a sneak peek at the Legoland resort that will open in Jinshan's Fengjing town next year.

The Jinshan tourism festival will run through Oct 6.
