Yangpu district in Shanghai will soon hold its annual Lantern Festival street fair, featuring traditional performances coupled with delicious food and fun activities.

Highlights:

Some 360 performers will entertain audiences with intangible cultural heritage displays.

Intangible heritage inheritors will showcase their crafts at the food market, offering traditional flavors and products.

The Jiangnan sizhu, a 300-year-old art form in Shanghai, will be performed at the market. This music style combines stringed (si) and bamboo (zhu) instruments, known for its graceful melodies and improvisational charm.
