Step into a world of mystery and magic at Shanghai Zoo's night activity, "Animal Adventure Night", a weekly zoo tour that runs from June 28 to Aug 30.

Curious tigers, serene sloths, and elusive red pandas are just some of the zoo's highlights. Under the expert guidance of the tour leader, visitors can unravel the secrets of the animal kingdom.

Pitch your tent at the zoo and fall asleep to the soothing sound of cicadas. In the morning, as the first rays of sunlight filter through, you can observe the pandas wake up and relish their delicious breakfast. From night to morning, every moment is brimming with surprises.

Participants: Children aged 5-11 (those born between July 5, 2013 and July 5, 2019) and their parents. A group is made up of one child and one parent, and each session is limited to 23 groups.

Program fee: 598 yuan ($82.23)/group.

Location: Shanghai Zoo (south gate 1). Accessible via Metro Line 10, Exit 1 of Shanghai Zoo Station.

Cancellation policy: Full refund for cancellations made 48 hours before the event, 50-percent refund for cancellations made within 48 hours, no refund will be given for same-day cancellations.

Itinerary:

6 pm-6:15 pm: Gathering

6:15 pm-6:20 pm: Camp opening ceremony

6:20 pm-7:15 pm: Interact closely with animals for safe touching experiences and lectures on animals

7:15 pm-9:15 pm: Night tour of Shanghai Zoo

9:15 pm-9:30 pm: Arrive at the science education center, camp closing ceremony

Necessary Items:

Bring ID for children or family register.

Bring your own drinking water, mosquito repellent, and rain gear.

*Given the frequent summer showers, the event organizer will provide basic rain ponchos for sudden downpours. However, it is advisable that guests come prepared with their own supplies.
