Middle Huaihai Road in Shanghai is widely said to be rapidly becoming a vibrant center for fashion innovation, showcasing the city's wider ambition to establish itself as an international consumption hub.

This iconic shopping street is now home to numerous flagship stores and debut events from both domestic and international brands.

One standout addition this year is the opening of Masonprince, a streetwear brand from Shenzhen in South China's Guangdong province, which has attracted a youthful crowd with its inclusive spirit.

The store's striking design features a Baroque building juxtaposed with modern metallic elements – creating an immersive shopping experience filled with surreal installations like pools and fountains.

Zhou Qiulin, founder of Masonprince, emphasizes the brand's commitment to making fashion accessible to young people – stating that the store aims to become a landmark that resonates with Shanghai's diverse cultural landscape.

In addition to Masonprince, Uniqlo's flagship store on Middle Huaihai Road has hosted multiple product launches, including collaborations with Japan's Studio Ghibli and the beloved Dutch rabbit Miffy.

The store's assistant manager, Yang Kun, highlights the importance of the area's trendy atmosphere and large young consumer base in driving foot traffic and engagements forward.

Adidas also continues to thrive on Middle Huaihai Road, recently hosting a book launch for All Gone, a publication that remains influential among street culture enthusiasts.
